Expectant parents will learn what to anticipate upon baby's arrival. This class is designed to increase parent confidence and help with the transition home from the hospital. Newborn care in the hospital is summarized. Methods for swaddling, bathing, diapering, and soothing newborns will be demonstrated and practiced. Newborn characteristics and recognizing baby's cues will also be covered.
