Teen Cooking Techniques Vacation June 14 - 18

Five Day Workshop

 

This five-day workshop is the perfect match for any teen who enjoys being in the kitchen. The format is similar to our adult Basic Cooking Techniques series but will be geared towards a teen audience. Giving your teen basic cooking skills is a great step toward independence. This will be a week of hands-on activities of learning basic prepping skills, cooking, tasting, and enjoying all things food. Let you son or daughter become the chef in your house! This class is for ages 13-17.

 

Bring an apron and wear closed-toe, non-skid shoes.

 

 

Sample Menu: 

Homemade biscuits; salad with roasted bacon, pecans & honey buttermilk dressing; carrot ginger soup; stuffed mushrooms; grilled salmon with citrus beurre blanc; sautéed flatiron steak with chile lime butter; cheesecake & chocolate cupcakes; grilled pineapple with toasted almonds and ice cream.
