This three day course, which builds off the content of the 5-day Residential Energy Auditor course, provides more in depth and applied training in how to assess the potential for improving home energy efficiency and comfort. The Advanced REA program is best suited for those who have passed the REA exam and/or employees or individuals who are currently performing residential energy conservation audits.
Prerequisites
• Possess Safe Work Practices, Installer, and/or Crew Chief competencies
• Possess a working knowledge of building science principles
Availability: Limited to 8 people per session.

• Diagnostic Performance Testing
• Combustion Appliance Safety
• Measure Selection
• Work Scope Development
Materials Required
Training materials will be provided. Required materials that are not provided (please bring these items with you to class on day 1):
• Clipboard/Pens/Pencils
• Calculator
• Tape Measure

Class Hours
Class runs from 8:00 – 4:30 p.m for the three day training. There will be an off-site hands on component to the training that you will need to transport yourself to.

**Weatherization funds cannot be used for the Advanced Residential Energy Auditor course without the trainee successfully passing the Residential Energy Auditor competency exam.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation deadline is 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled class start date for a full refund. You must cancel your registration either by notifying us in writing of your intent to cancel or by cancelling through the on-line registration system that you signed up through.
