2010 Annual Career and Technical Education Summer Program Galt House Hotel & Suites Louisville, July 18-21, 2010

Kentucky’s Career and Technical Educators have diverse needs, yet they share in the professional development goal to become better educators. The Summer Program theme is Focus on the Future, with strands on Technology, Transitions and Teamwork all supporting CTE Makes a Difference in Kentucky. Program registration is flexible to permit one-, two-, or three-day attendance; and professional association sessions will be a part of the activities. Early registration fee for KACTE members is $145; non-members is $195. ACTE membership number is required for KACTE member registration rate; if not provided attendee must pay non-member rate.

Those making payment by Purchase Orders will need to return pre-registration forms with purchase orders by April 9, 2010. A $50.00 late fee will be assessed on any Purchase Orders received after April 9. A copy of the purchase order must accompany the registration form or be mailed immediately following on-line registration. Any registration received AFTER the June 11, 2010, postmark date or on-site will pay the regular registration fee of $170 for KACTE members and $220 for non-members. Full refunds may be given through June 11, 2010, and partial refunds (less $25 processing fee) may be given from June 11-25. The registration fee is nonrefundable after June 25, 2010. Registrants are responsible for payment of the full registration fee unless a written cancellation notice is given by June 25, 2010. EXPRESS REGISTRATION on site will be available for all persons who meet the June 11 deadline date by submitting  a completed registration form and full payment.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Call the Galt House Hotels at 502/589-5200 to make room reservations.  Identify yourself as attending the KACTE/Career and Technical Education Summer Program in order to receive the convention rates. Reservations must be made by June 17, 2010, to guarantee a room. After this date, the unused portion of the room block will be released back to the hotel for general sale. Reservations received after this cut-off date will be accepted at the convention rate, based on availability.  KACTE WILL NOT MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS.
