| Presenters: | Cheryl Fuller has been in the field of education for 26 years as a classroom teacher, school counselor and 14 years as a school principal. In the past two years, as a member of the Office of Professional Development at DPI, Cheryl has provided professional development to more than 10 thousand educators in North Carolina on the Principal and Teaching Standards and Evaluation Instruments. Cheryl has a BS degree in Child Development/Family Relations, a Masters in Counseling and a Masters in Educational Leadership. | |

This session will look at the elements of Standard 1: Teacher Leadership and provide practical behaviors to help teachers move through the levels of the rubric. By exploring our own learning and leadership styles and learning to recognize those of others, we become stronger teacher leaders. |
