Fall Action Reads

Action Reads are discussions on a single book that focus on the "Action" elements of the book for professional/academic development. These Reads use topics selected from the book as starting points for small group discussion around issues facing faculty and graduate students here at Kent State University. Topics range from curriculum development to classroom practice and much more. Participants meet over a four week period for an hour each week and receive a free copy of the book to use in the future.

October 6th at 2 p.m. - Caught in the Middle: America's Heartland in the Age of Globalism by Richard Longworth - Facilitated by Patti Kameya

October 15th at 11 a.m. - Time and the River by Zee Edgell - Facilitated by Masood Raja
