To register, click on the title of the course and click on 'Register Now' Month Date Upcoming Event February 2/10/2010 4:30 PM New Teacher Seminars - 3 credits These sessions are planned for every 2nd Wednesday of the month and will offer practical strategies for immediate application. These sessions will provide differentiated processes for elementary and secondary teachers. Sessions will provide time for discussion, problem solving, and learning. 2/22/2010 4:30 PM Developing Mathematical Ideas Part III, Geometry: Examining Features of Shape - 2 credits Participants will examine aspects of 2D and 3D shapes, develop geometric vocabulary, and explore both definitions and properties of geometric objects. The seminar includes a study of angle, similarity, congruence, and the relationships between 3D objects and their 2D representations. (Participants will be expected to complete several activities with students, but arrangements can be made for those who are not classroom teachers.)
